CAVALIERS PROMOTED TO THE SOUTH WALES ALLIANCE LEAGUE.

Today we have received notification that Nelson Cavaliers AFC will be playing our football in the South Wales Alliance League, Division Two.

It has been a long and challenging battle for the Cavs to rightly earn their promotion into the higher league.

Following what has been a very satisfying season, although shorten by Corvid19, we have played the right style of football that deserves to be rewarded with promotion.

Best wishes go the the team management, players and committee  for all their hard work in achieving their goal.

CAVALIERS AWARDED THE TAFF ELY RHYMNEY VALLEY PREMIER LEAGUE 2019/20.

The Cavaliers are crowned TERV Premier League Champions after being awarded the title on the Points/Games played system averaging 2.71 points/game.

Not the way we would have liked but the Coronavirus as lot to answer for.

SOUTH WALES FA SENIOR CUP QUARTER FINAL.

Cavaliers reach the Quarter Final of the South Wales Senior Cup after defeating Island Marine FC 4-2 and will meet Pentwyn Dynamos FC who play their football in Cardiff & District Premier League.

The Cavaliers will play in this prestigious tournament at the Wern Park on 14th March. Kick off 2.00pm.

CAVALIERS REACH THE BERNARD MARTIN CUP FINAL. 2020

A a very hard fought 3-2 win against a good Cwrt Rawlin side see the Cavaliers though to the final of the Bernard Martin Cup!

Big win for the boys, in an end to end game that could have gone either way, both teams were heavily affected when defending against horrific wind.

The Cavaliers goals came from Dan Falconer (pen) Ceri Clingo and Ryan Donovan.

The Cavaliers will meet Rhydyfelin AFC who beat Talbot Green FC 2-0 in the other semi final.

The date and venue of the final has yet to be confirmed.

SOUTH WALES FA SENIOR CUP 4th ROUND

Cavaliers reach the 4th round and draw Island Marine FC away in the 4th Round of the Senior Cup on 15th February 2020.

Island Marine play their football in Vale of Glamorgan Premier League.

The Cavaliers will be playing in this prestigious tournament and will be running a bus to the venue.

The bus will be leaving from Nelson Bus Station at 12 noon & returning at 7.00pm

A nominal charge of £5.00 will secure your seat.
